SXSW: BMI'S BRUNCH TO REMEMBER: INTERVIEW WITH THEBROSFRESH

SXSW is back in Austin, Texas and it's making sure artists have the spotlight they deserve. I attended a special brunch curated by one of music's powerhouses, BMI and featured hosts,  THEBROSFRESH. The event featured live performances from diverse groups of artists, texas BBQ style food options and complimentary drinks for all invited.

Lucky for me, I had the opportunity to give you an exclusive moment with the twins. Hailing all the way from Louisiana they blend their voices together to bring us a combination of soul, rock and R&B. With their vibrant energy and unique sound they were perfect to host a brunch that was meant to shine a positive light on music and those that make it.

Me: What do you tell the rising artist that wants to come to SX (SXSW)?

THEBROSFRESH: SX is a great place to get work done if you come in focused. Come in with a plan.

Don't come in with not knowing where you want to attend (or) what you wanna do. Have the plan dialed in.

Then have some room for spontaneity at the same time.

SX is a great place to connect the dots for yourself.

What do you need?

What do you need is always connected to a who? So finding the right people is important.

These words are so important for anyone attending or desiring to attend SXSW in the future. However, they can be used a motivation for the rising musician to grow.
