SXSW: Day 1 Moments in Austin at Paramount+'s The Lodge

I was invited to the VIP preview of Paramount+The Lodge and it did not disappoint! Paramount+'s The Lodge at SXSW 2026 offers a playful Texas-inspired escape right in the middle of the festival buzz. Designed to capture the feel of a classic Texas lodge, the space immerses festival goein themed activations inspired by some of Paramount+’s biggest titles while still embracing the creative spirit that defines SXSW.

This lodge experience has all the energy of a lively community gathering where festival-goers can convene together to explore the space, connect, and enjoy the experience. Inside, visitors can check out interactive stations, including a special gifting experience where guests can create personalized keepsakes like engraved handkerchiefs, luggage tags, and other items featuring the Paramount+ logo. The lodge also features three curated bars that add to the rustic atmosphere and keep the energy flowing throughout the space.

The vibe was vibrant yet relaxed, very SXSW approved, and it felt like the perfect way to kick off the first day of the festival. The activation is open to the public during daytime hours, with special evening access reserved for badge holders.
